With the development of Web applications, Internet Protocol taking place in a variety of subtle changes. As the Internet to develop and promote standards for the main body in charge of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) 8 in early Dublin, Ireland, held its 72nd meeting, during the promotion and application of IPv6 discussed.

Now most of the IPv6 protocol and consider the implementation of the proposed solutions are considered IPv4/IPv6 coexistence. Double-stack address five years ago, can be said to be a correct method of transition. However, with the new IPv4 addresses run out, this approach has been more and more feasible.

Double-stack address for the IPv4 addresses and have access to the new IPv6 addresses of the current equipment, continues to be a correct approach. However, the need for a new address of the new equipment and networks, this is not a good solution.

Now the big question is how to make IPv4 only function with the equipment only IPv6-enabled devices communicate with each other. This resolution addresses the need to address the issue from the complexity, scalability and security, this is a more difficult problem.
